By David Roth

I Wanted to be a part of Million Artist Movement. It seemed to connect with all of my beliefs.” -Courtney Cochran

Courtney Cochran is using her educational resources to say some very specific things about the world around her. She has been making a documentary about the Million Artist Movement, not only because she believes in the work that they do, but because she’s also a member.

The Million Artist Movement revolves around the mission to "be a network of committed artists and activists that are speaking out as survivors of oppression and a system that dehumanizes the people, particularly Black bodies."

This is a gathering of artists and activists who want to express how they feel, change oppressive systems, make art and be part of a collective that is creating social activism.

If you are interested in finding out more about Million Artist Movement, you can visit their Facebook page, email them at [email protected] or pay a visit to their dedicated website.
