The Transformative Power of Music

Music has given Charlie Blanchard his voice back.

Charlie Blanchard has spent over 16 years of his life with Parkinson's Disease. After 7 years of care taking, Charlie and his wife, Joan, decided that it would be best for Charlie to move to the Minneapolis Veterans Home. Thanks to two volunteers and the transformative power of music, Charlie's life has changed dramatically. Now the owner of six harmonicas, Charlie, along with guitarist John and volunteer Ray perform for the residents of the veterans home.
