Second Congressional District Debate

The race for Minnesota's Second Congressional District seat is being watched closely across the nation as it is considered one of several swing districts that could tip the balance of power in Congress this fall. The Second District includes southern suburbs of the Twin Cities and points south and east from there.

The district is currently being represented by Republican Jason Lewis. He is being challenged this election cycle by Democrat Angie Craig, who ran against Lewis two years ago when the seat was open.
