Previewing "Citizen Lane"

Common ground isn't an easy thing to find in 2018 America, but Twin Cities PBS recently drove a Shasta camper to all the places they thought it might be hiding. That's the concept behind "Citizen Lane," a new series of online shorts you can view right here on http://tptoriginals.org

On a recent episode of "Almanac," David Gillette spoke with the show's two stars, Sanni Brown and Sandy Heikkila.  As Sanni and Sandy told him, they traveled the state and found many surprises, including countless Minnesotans who weren't waiting for government to provide solutions, but rather stepping up on their own.

Now that they're back home safe and sound (despite a dangerous expedition to get the 'perfect shot' of an impressive new bridge on the Iron Range), they're hoping the series will shed some light on the many issues Minnesotans are discussing today.
