Discover why the necklace "Medal of Honor" was submitted under the pseudonym, "Abraham Isitshits."

The Minnesota Museum of American Art (the M) has more than 4,500 works in its collection across genres and disciplines. Curator of Exhibitions Christopher Atkins shares the surprising story behind one work in their studio craft collection, Christian's Schmidt's, "Medal of Honor." Schmidt originally submitted the work under the pseudonym, "Abraham Isitshits" for a juried exhibition, but why? Watch the video to find out.
