Arthur Owen on Raising the Flag
Arthur Owen learned from the strong military men in his life what it takes to raise the American flag.

Arthur Owen, who died suddenly in 2018, was surrounded by strong military men as a child, learning young about service and honor. As a child, Arthur Owen watched his uncle, Severt Young Bear, raise the flag during a pow-wow on Prairie Island. He asked his father, "What does it take to raise the flag?"
