Angela Davis Paints Her Community

Angela Davis is an acrylic painter born and raised in North Minneapolis. Angela has drawn and painted for as long as she can remember, her subject matter subject matter usually tapping into African American culture, local landmarks and social justice art. Her inspiration is her family and friends, her community and music. She has participated in numerous exhibits, art fairs, markets, music festivals and more.
