2019 State Budget Negotiations Continue

There's just a handful of days left before the legislature has to adjourn the regular session and a budget agreement still does not exist between DFL Governor Walz, the DFL controlled House and the Republican controlled Senate.

House Leaders joined Mary Lahammer on Almanac at the Capitol for an update an key sticking points but didn't share much about the negotiations going on behind closed doors late into Tuesday night and throughout most of the day on Wednesday.

General consensus is that the quieter the news out of the room, the more likely it is they are getting close to a deal.
